Although Nantucket is for most people a summer place, an off-season visit is also a wonderful experience. The fall is spectacular when the late summer flowers are still blooming and the sun is warm enough for swimming right through September. Or come for the winter holidays. Thanksgiving is homecoming time. And in December the air is crisp, the shopping unhurried, and the island dressed for an old-fashioned Christmas. Then come celebrate with us in April when millions of daffodils herald the coming of spring.
Cape Cod has lodging of every kind available for the tourist, not to mention miles and miles of beaches. Be sure to try some of the area's fine restaurants for their famous clams or lobster.
